Tact Staff is seeking a skilled Travel CT Technologist to join our team in a dynamic healthcare environment. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT examinations, working closely with our medical team to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform CT examinations on patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics, in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Operate CT scanners and other medical equipment, maintaining a high level of technical proficiency and adhering to safety protocols.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction, workflow efficiency, and overall quality of care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest advancements in CT technology and radiology best practices.
- 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- ARRT (CT) certification and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- SCRQSA (CT) certification and registration with the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association.
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification.
- Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology or completion of a student clinical rotation with ARRT certification.
- Experience working in a Level III Trauma, Acute Care Hospital environment.
- Knowledge of EPIC charting system and PACS technology.
- Ability to start IVs, administer contrast, and perform biopsies.
