Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at Onyx Point, Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems engineering with a minimum of 14 years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Derive lower-level requirements from higher-level allocated requirements and ensure they are complete and correct.
  • Develop systems engineering documentation, including System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, and Requirements Specifications.
  • Manage system requirements and derived requirements to ensure the delivery of production systems that are compatible with the defined system architecture.
  • Contribute to the development of sections of systems engineering documentation, such as Interface Control Documents and System Requirements.
  • Participate in Integrated Product Teams to design new capabilities based on evaluation of all necessary development and operational considerations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • Five years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
  • Active TS/SCI with full scope polygraph security clearance and U.S. citizenship.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with systems engineering tools and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of security mechanisms and information assurance services.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
