Job Title: Project Manager - Transportation Services

CDM Smith is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead transportation projects in the Indianapolis area. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of transportation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Lead and manage project teams, including engineers, technicians, and other support staff.
  • Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and other project team members to ensure project goals and objectives are met.
  • Monitor and control project costs, schedules, and quality.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in transportation project management, with a focus on highway and bridge design.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Indiana.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Proficiency in project management software, including MS Project, Primavera, and Asana.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with transportation project management software, including Autodesk Civil 3D and MicroStation.
  • Certification in project management, such as PMP or PRINCE2.
