Painter - Casper

The Painter is a key member of our production team at Westerman, Inc., responsible for preparing products for painting and operating various painting equipment and methods. This role requires attention to detail, strong work ethic, and excellent attendance.

1. Preparation and Painting: Prepare products prior to painting, ensuring they meet specifications and quality standards.
2. Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and repair painting equipment, including powder paint booths and powder coat processes.
3. Quality Control: Inspect products for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as needed to meet specifications.
4. Chemical Management: Titrate and adjust chemical levels in the seven-stage spray wash, ensuring optimal results.
5. Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot common problems and adjust equipment as needed to maintain excellent quality and production.
6. Reporting and Documentation: Complete production reports accurately and in accordance with standard operating procedures.

1. Education and Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience or equivalent knowledge, with a working knowledge of powder paint booths and powder coat processes.
2. Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, exert moderate to heavy physical effort, and lift up to 50 pounds.
3. Work Environment: Ability to work in extreme temperatures, wear required PPE, and access all areas of the plant and grounds.
