Painter - Casper

The Painter is a key member of our production team, responsible for preparing products for painting and operating various painting equipment and methods. This role requires attention to detail, strong work ethic, and excellent attendance.

1. Prepare products for painting, ensuring they meet specifications.
2. Operate painting equipment, including powder coat and wet paint processes.
3. Inspect products for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as needed.
4. Perform routine maintenance on painting equipment to ensure optimal performance.
5. Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and maintain a safe working environment.

1. 2+ years of experience in a related field or equivalent knowledge.
2. Working knowledge of powder paint booth and powder coat process.
3. Ability to read and understand bills of material.
4. Proficiency in titrating and adjusting chemical levels for seven-stage spray wash.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot common issues.
6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

The Painter will work in a fast-paced production environment, requiring the ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in extreme temperatures. A pulmonary function test may be required to wear a respirator. The successful candidate will be physically able to access all areas of the plant and grounds.
