Job Summary:The Emergency Department Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care, assessing patients' conditions, and developing and implementing individualized care plans. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patients' medical histories, allergies, and cultural backgrounds
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice
- At least 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
