Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and courteous banquet server/set-up person to join our team at the Best Western Premier Great Northern Hotel Helena. As a key member of our banquet team, you will provide exceptional service to our guests at special events, ensuring a memorable experience for all.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver outstanding service to guests from start to finish of events
  • Refill glasses with coffee, water, or other beverages as needed or requested
  • Verify adherence to food handling safety protocols
  • Clear plates, replace silverware, and attend to guests' needs
  • Set up tables, place chairs, and press table linen
  • Perform general housekeeping duties in the banquet area, including vacuuming and wiping down surfaces
  • Assist with kitchen duties such as dishwashing, basic cleaning, and food preparation
  • Lift 50 pounds or more and remain on your feet for extended periods
  • Provide technical assistance with audio-visual equipment
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in food service is preferred
  • Strong team-first attitude and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize guest satisfaction and provide exceptional customer service
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
