Your Role:

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in software engineering within a Linux environment.
  • Proficiency in software development using Python and Java for at least 2 years.
  • Experience in data modeling and metrics analysis for a minimum of 1 year.
  • At least 1 year of experience in developing and maintaining web-based server applications, including algorithms interfacing with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
  • Ability to gather requirements from project teams and prioritize effectively.
  • Experience leading small, cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and Linux shell scripting.
  • Experience in data modeling practices.
  • Possession of TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
  • A Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of software engineering experience, or 6+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with unstructured databases like MongoDB and Elasticsearch, as well as graph databases such as Neo4J.
  • Familiarity with web design using JavaScript, Angular, or Python Shiny.
  • Experience with Apache NiFi for data flow processing.
  • Proficiency in using pig scripts for analytics against cloud data in Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while managing both long-term and short-term tasks.
  • Demonstrated flexibility, initiative, and innovative thinking.
  • A Master's degree.

Clearance Requirements:

Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is mandatory.
