We are seeking a highly skilled Wholesale Credit Risk Associate to join our team at the Hispanic Technology Executive Council. As a key member of our Institutional Credit Management Risk Analysis Unit, you will be responsible for delivering best-in-class credit risk analysis, monitoring, and credit administration for our wholesale lending portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Credit Analysis and Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough credit analysis of our most complex Large Corporate, Public Sector, and Financial Institutions clients, utilizing both quantitative and qualitative factors to assess their credit and financial strength.
- Credit Risk Management: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our clients' financial profiles, industry trends, and potential credit risks, providing recommendations to mitigate these risks and ensure compliance with our risk appetite.
- Portfolio Monitoring and Reporting: Continuously monitor our covered portfolio, identifying potential credit issues and escalating them to our Credit Risk Team Leads and ICM Risk partners, ensuring timely and effective risk management.
- Collaboration and Communication: Partner with regional and industry stakeholders in BCMA and Independent Risk to implement credit assessment and monitoring standards for applicable portfolios, ensuring seamless execution and effective communication.
- Knowledge and Experience: Possess demonstrable financial services experience, including 3-5 years of credit experience in Banking, Credit Risk Management, or equivalent credit experience, with a strong understanding of wholesale credit processes and organizational awareness.
- Education: BA/BSc or higher degree in Business (MBA), or any other related subject or equivalent experience.
- Skills and Competencies: Assist colleagues in identifying stretch opportunities to elevate individual and team performance, coach and mentor analysts to develop team strengths and improve weaknesses, and possess well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and exert influence with and without direct authority.
