Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to join our team at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control. As an Industrial Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of manufacturing processes and systems. Your expertise will be essential in driving efficiency, productivity, and quality improvements across our site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
  • Conduct capacity analysis to optimize production rates
  • Justify and manage equipment projects to support business needs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement lean manufacturing tools and techniques
  • Design and implement floor layout changes to improve workflow and productivity
  • Develop and maintain performance management team metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement
  • Identify and implement safety and ergonomic improvements to reduce risk and improve employee well-being
Requirements
  • STEM-related Bachelor's degree
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with capacity planning, standards, and efficiency
  • Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering
  • Experience with simulation modeling and CAPEX project management
  • Aerospace/defense industry experience
  • SAP and simulation experience with Simio software
  • Tableau experience
  • Earned Value Management
  • Finance/accounting experience
