Job Title:
Mechanical Engineer - System Design and Integration

Job Summary:
Efficus, Inc. is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and integration of complex mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with experience in system design, analysis, and implementation.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop fully integrated mechanical assembly systems to meet process requirements.
• Comply with local and government agency design/implementation codes.
• Develop documents of system configuration and design.
• Develop drawings of mechanical design, assemblies, and installation procedures on AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks software.
• Perform system analysis/calculations including ride system design requirements for attractions involving guest accelerations, reach envelope, ingress/egress, weight, and emergency evacuation analysis and implementation upon control system failure in worst-case scenarios.
• Act as technical lead on projects and guide lower-level engineers, technicians, and contractors.
• Act as Project Manager on smaller projects ranging from $50k to $250k. Develop and execute implementation plans for the project.
• Assign work to meet overall project deadlines.
• Ensure that all project team members clearly understand the scope of W-M responsibilities.
• Evaluate progress on project(s) and details changes.
• Responsible for all purchasing and subcontractor requirements.
• Responsible for the development of costs and proposal of change orders to contract scope.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• An in-depth understanding of mechanical systems, components, stress analysis, acceleration forces, and knowledge of amusement ride safety standards (ASTM Standards).
• Experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks is also desired.
• Knowledge of contract documents and specifications.
• Ability to collect field data and accurately record findings.
• Planning, Customer Focused, Timely Decision Making, Informing, Organizing, Priority Setting, Problem Solving.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Windows and Office environments.
• Ability to travel up to 35%.
• Standard office environment, On-site office environment, and diverse industrial environments.
• Frequent PC usage, fax machines, copy machines, and phones.

Education and Experience:
