Ultrasound Tech PRN Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Ultrasound Tech PRN to join our team at Medical City North Hills. As an Ultrasound Tech PRN, you will be responsible for performing ultrasound procedures and providing exceptional patient care.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform ultrasound procedures on patients, including abdominal, obstetric, and gynecologic exams.
  • Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures and positioning patients.
  • Operate ultrasound equipment, including adjusting settings and taking images.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient exams and results.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient care is coordinated and effective.
Requirements:
  • Registered by R.D.M.S. in Abdomen or Ob/Gyn within 6 months of hire, promotion or completion of training program.
  • Registered by R.D.M.S (RVT) or (RVS) by C.C.I. within 6 months of hire, promotion or completion of training program.
  • BLS from HCA approved vendor required.
