Behavioral Health Specialist

Rite of Passage is a leading national provider of programs and opportunities for troubled and at-risk youth. We are seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team in Southern California.
About the RoleAs a Behavioral Health Specialist, you will oversee and coordinate case management services for one or more STRTP, Behavioral Health programs. You will participate in Child and Family Team meetings, refer clients to other mental health and community resources, and ensure successful discharge back into the community.
Responsibilities- Manage and update assigned client files according to STRTP standards
- Assist in coordinating appointments pertaining to client's treatment plan
- Identify community contacts and opportunities for client employment
- Participate in weekly staffing on youth to assure program compliance
- Complete required reports and documentation in a timely manner
- Associates level degree, plus six years of related experience or Bachelors level degree plus four years related experience or Masters level degree plus two years of related experience working with youth in a related setting
- Desire to work with troubled teens
- Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test
- Possession of a valid CA Drivers License
- $500 sign-on bonus for full-time positions
- Eligible for medical, dental, vision, and life insurance after 90 days of employment
