**Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced Inventory Planner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, forecasting, and managing the inventory levels of finished goods and subcomponents. This role requires close collaboration with the production, purchasing, and logistics departments to ensure optimal inventory availability and minimize excess or obsolete stock.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Plan and forecast inventory requirements for finished goods and subcomponents based on demand, lead time, and safety stock.
- Monitor and report on inventory levels, schedules, and performance indicators.
- Coordinate with production, purchasing, and logistics departments to resolve inventory issues or discrepancies.
- Identify and implement inventory reduction and improvement initiatives to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
- Maintain and update inventory data and records in the ERP system.
**Requirements**
- At least three years of experience in inventory planning or scheduling in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.
- Knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
