Job Summary

The Maintenance Reliability Supervisor plays a pivotal role in driving machine reliability improvements across assigned areas within the plant, with a focus on Reliability Centered Maintenance. This position is responsible for leading efforts to increase machine uptime and longevity, serving as a key technical resource between plant maintenance, engineering, and operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies, incorporating techniques such as vibration analysis, lubrication, circuit evaluation, pressure differentials, corrosion monitoring, and thermography. Utilize industry 4.0 technology and AI to monitor and predict potential failures.
  • Analyze work order, breakdown, and Wonderware data to identify areas of focus for root cause analysis and improvement strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with maintenance and production teams to improve standard work impacting equipment and quality.
  • Lead maintenance coordination efforts, including planning, scheduling, and inventory control.
  • Work with the maintenance planner to create standard work procedures for preventative maintenance and work orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Prioritize work orders in the backlog with the maintenance scheduler.
  • Optimize and audit maintenance processes, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Identify obsolete equipment and components, working to replace them with modern equivalents.
  • Support project engineering with project prioritization and data-driven justification.
  • Support COS improvement initiatives and safety initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to company and departmental policies by the maintenance team.
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Understand the technical, engineering, and quality requirements of the facility.
  • Proficient in computer skills, including SAP/CMMS, purchasing, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and Power Point, as well as AutoCAD.
  • Read and interpret vendor manuals and drawings.
  • Communicate effectively with shop floor personnel, vendors, OEM suppliers, and management personnel.
  • Perform cost analysis and work within a structured budget.
  • Write detailed repair reports.
  • Develop and deliver clear, concise presentations.
  • Commit to teamwork across the organization.
  • Highly motivated and self-directed, with the ability to work towards specific goals and objectives with limited daily oversight.
Education and Experience:
  • Required:
    • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical and/or Industrial Engineering.
    • 3-5 years of industrial manufacturing and maintenance experience.
