Role Summary

We are currently seeking a Receivables Management Specialist to join our Finance Department. The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual capable of working autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team. This role requires effective communication skills to engage with both internal teams and external partners.

This position is accountable for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timely reporting of all receivables data in accordance with established company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage collections, reconciliations, and recovery processes.
  • Assist in the execution of month-end and year-end receivables activities.
  • Ensure accurate posting of customer payments and prompt collections.
  • Prepare and reconcile aging reports for customer accounts.
  • Issue statements to customers as needed.
  • Document and resolve unauthorized deductions and bad debts.
  • Alert the Finance Manager of any potential issues.
  • Review orders on hold and determine appropriate actions.
  • Conduct customer credit reviews and make recommendations for adjustments.
  • Prepare and record monthly accounts receivable journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Ensure accurate reconciliation of cash receipts and related accounts.
  • Maintain and update accounts receivable policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Recent experience in accounts receivable management, preferably with Acumatica.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in similar roles.
  • A Bachelor's degree in business is preferred but not mandatory.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis.
  • Demonstrated initiative and urgency in meeting deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with various stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational abilities.
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation and Benefits

This is a full-time, salaried position eligible for overtime.
