Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  1. Warehouse Operations: Oversee the daily workflow of the warehouse, ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  2. Staff Management: Schedule and organize staff to ensure proper staffing of all shifts, including hiring and training new warehouse team members.
  3. Performance Evaluations: Conduct timely and constructive performance evaluations to ensure that team members are meeting their goals and objectives.
  4. Discipline and Motivation: Handle discipline and motivation of team members as needed and in accordance with company policy.
  5. Collaboration and Coordination: Ensure efficient warehouse operations through collaboration and coordination with other departments.
  6. Training and Development: Review training needs of the warehouse team, modifying or improving existing programs, and/or developing new training programs to meet those needs.
  7. Reporting and Compliance: Complete all required management reports and ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, local, and company safety policies.
  8. Inventory Management: Ensure accurate raw inventory throughout the facility and lead periodic physical inventories.
  9. 5S Strategy: Execute excellent 5S strategy for cleanliness and organization.
  10. Year-End Inventory Counts: Plan and execute year-end inventory counts.
  11. Metrics-Driven Performance Management: Implement metrics-driven performance management to ensure that team members are meeting their goals and objectives.
Requirements
  1. Experience: Three + years of related supervisory experience.
  2. Skills: Proficient with inventory reporting systems, Microsoft Office Suite, or similar software.
  3. Knowledge: Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures.
  4. Physical Demands: Ability to operate warehouse equipment; forklift certification is a plus.
  5. Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  6. Language: Conversational English.
