About the Unit

Our 32-bed medical floor, 9 North, provides exceptional care to adult and geriatric patients with various medical conditions, including cardiac, neuro, respiratory, infectious disease, and psych. We have the capability to monitor 8 cardiac telemetry patients, and our nurses care for patients with acute conditions while managing chronic conditions.

Scope of Work

As a Registered Nurse, you will utilize the nursing process to provide professional nursing care, incorporating patient-family centered care principles to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge. You will partner with patients and families to develop teaching strategies and document education and learning in the health record.

Qualifications
  • Associates in Nursing Required
  • Bachelors in Nursing Required within 5 years
  • MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required
  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required upon hire
  • Specialty Certification highly recommended within 2 years

Work Schedule

Full-time position with a 36-hour weekly schedule, including every other weekend

7:30am - 8:00pm
