About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team at Dental Associates Group. As a key member of our dental care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dentists during procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Dentists during Dental Procedures: Provide support to our dentists during various procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for our patients.
  • Prepare and Sterilize Instruments and Equipment: Maintain a clean and organized work environment by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment according to our high standards.
  • Take and Develop Dental Radiographs (X-rays): Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of our patients.
  • Provide Patients with Oral Care Instructions: Educate patients on proper oral care techniques and provide instructions following surgery or other dental treatments.
  • Record Patient Medical Histories and Maintain Accurate Patient Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans.
  • Ensure a Clean and Organized Work Environment: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to our high standards of infection control and patient safety.
Requirements
  • Valid X-ray Certification: Possess valid x-ray certification and be able to take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays).
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Hold a high school diploma or equivalent and have a strong foundation in mathematics and science.
  • CPR Certification (Preferred): Possess CPR certification and be able to respond to emergency situations.
  • Minimum of 1 Year of Experience as a Dental Assistant: Have a minimum of 1 year of experience as a dental assistant and be able to demonstrate your skills and knowledge in this role.
  • Experience Taking Impressions and Pouring Models: Have experience taking impressions and pouring models, and be able to demonstrate your ability to work with dental materials.
  • Experience Assisting during Various Procedures: Have experience assisting during various procedures, such as CR/SR fillings, crown/bridge prep, and be able to demonstrate your ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to Set Up and Break Down Operatories: Be able to set up and break down operatories, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Strong Attention to Detail and Ability to Multitask: Possess strong attention to detail and be able to multitask, prioritizing tasks and managing your time effectively.
  • Experience with Dental Software (Preferred): Have experience with dental software, such as Open Dental, and be able to demonstrate your ability to learn and adapt to new systems.
