Job Summary

EdAdvance is seeking a skilled Cafeteria Worker to join our team at Litchfield Center School. As a Cafeteria Worker, you will play a vital role in providing quality meals to students while maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve healthy, compliant lunches to students
  • Operate a point-of-sale system and maintain accurate records
  • Follow all sanitation and health codes governing food preparation and personal appearance
  • Work with hot ovens, sharp tools, and slippery floors
  • Perform general cleaning and maintenance tasks
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous food service or catering experience
  • Ability to operate and care for institutional/industrial equipment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Working Conditions

This is a part-time position working 4 hours per day, Monday through Friday. The successful candidate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and move throughout the school kitchen to prepare food and perform other duties.
