Job Title: Lunchroom Monitor

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Lunchroom Monitor at Torrington Middle School.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment in the lunchroom, ensuring that students have a positive dining experience. This includes setting up and cleaning up after meals, restocking supplies, and assisting with food preparation.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment in the lunchroom
  • Set up and clean up after meals
  • Restock supplies as needed
  • Assist with food preparation
  • Communicate effectively with students and staff
Requirements:
  • General kitchen skills
  • Ability to lift 40-50 pounds
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
Working Conditions:

This is a 10-month position with a 182-day work schedule. The starting pay is $15.69 per hour, in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement.
