KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct thorough reviews and manage field coordination challenges alongside project stakeholders.

Interpret and clarify project blueprints, specifications, and details for subcontractors and skilled trades.

Implement a pre-construction quality assurance strategy.

Secure and uphold all necessary construction permits, collaborating with the Project Manager on financial obligations related to permits.

Maintain and develop:
Material Tracking List, Project Test and Inspection Listings, Concrete Placement Logs, Non-Conformance Reports.

Oversee the creation and distribution of contract documentation.

Establish protocols for managing electronic documents, including Requests for Information (RFI) and correspondence.

Incorporate processes that facilitate project closeout.

Supervise all facets of testing and inspection within the construction quality management framework.

Implement a three-phase inspection methodology.

Set up reporting formats, schedules, and off-site testing procedures as necessary.

Promptly inform the Project Manager and Superintendent of any test results or inspection issues that deviate from contract specifications.

Manage submittals effectively.

Establish a register in line with project specifications and secure customer/architect approval.

Prepare project-specific transmittal forms in the project management system.

Coordinate the packaging, review, and processing of submittals.

Expedite submittals to align material deliveries with the project timeline.

Communicate submittal process details and requirements to subcontractors and suppliers.

Issue letters outlining submittal requirements, including packaging and processing guidelines.

Provide regular updates on the submittal register to clients or architects.

Coordinate various subcontractor details, including verifying insurance, preparing necessary documentation, and requesting final payments from Finance.

Develop and distribute RFIs and Change Orders.

Define and execute procedures for updating as-built construction documents.

Incorporate subcontractor as-built documentation into the revision process for contract documents.

Foster effective working relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds and organizational levels.

Lead by example, offering constructive coaching and feedback while managing team performance.

Identify alternative work methods as required.

Ensure safety and compliance for all team members.

Maintain a schedule of timelines and ensure follow-through until project completion.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil or Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.

A minimum of two years of relevant experience.

Possession of a valid driver's license.

Detail-oriented with the ability to organize and manage multiple project tasks.

Basic understanding of construction law and standard business practices.

Strong teamwork orientation, initiative, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management software, and relevant web applications.

Ability to interpret and communicate company policies effectively.

Active listening skills and effective communication, with openness to diverse perspectives and feedback.
