Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified Counselor Technician to join our team at WESTCARE INC. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with individuals struggling with substance abuse and mental health issues. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support and guidance to clients in a residential setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Client supervision and support in daily living activities
- Participation in medication calls and visual contact searches
- Documentation and record-keeping as needed
- Collaboration with colleagues to maintain a safe and healthy environment
Requirements
- 1 year of experience in a residential social service setting
- Basic computer skills and good documentation abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High School Diploma required; degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field preferred
