Position Overview
As a Hospitalist Physician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and delivering non-surgical medical care for patients with diseases and injuries affecting internal organ systems while they are hospitalized. Your role includes daily patient visits to assess their health status and determine the necessity of continued hospitalization.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide emergency and inpatient medical services to patients referred by private physicians.
- Engage in daily discussions regarding the patient's care plan with the patient, their family, and relevant healthcare providers.
- Collaborate effectively with your healthcare team and ancillary staff to address any issues or concerns that may arise.
Minimum Qualifications
- Possession of an M.D. or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
- Board Certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine is required.
- Willingness to accept periodic transfers to various locations as needed.
- Must have the legal right to work indefinitely in the United States.
