[Provide medical care to patients in a timely manner. Visit patients to determine their health status and if they need to remain at the hospital. Provide inpatient medical care to patients of private physicians. Review the patient's plan of care with the patient, family and appropriate health care providers on a daily basis. Collaborate with team, other healthcare professionals and ancillary personnel to resolve issues or concerns. Providing appropriate general Hospital Medicine care and management of patients as a Hospitalist, including, but not limited to, appropriate evaluation, treatment and follow-up care for patients. Prescription of medication and/or procedures as is medically appropriate in accordance with applicable law. Maintenance of appropriate, legible and timely written patient records, which shall at all times be suitable for use by other physicians, and in strict adherence to the employer's and hospitals' policies regarding the preparation and custody of patient charts, including without limitation recording or causing to be recorded service level codes and diagnosis codes appropriate to the type and level of services rendered to patients in collaboration with appropriate hospital staff for all services rendered.
