Job Summary

The Residential Coach/Counselor will work closely with the Clinical Director and other professionals to support the healthy development of young mothers and their children. This role is responsible for ensuring a safe, secure, and clean environment, as well as providing residential coverage and enforcing house rules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide residential coverage during specified hours and maintain house safety and security.
  • Conduct weekly residential inspections and report maintenance issues to the Facilities Director.
  • Support the facilitation of leisure and recreational activities for residents.
  • Enforce rules and regulations to ensure the smooth operation of the residence.
  • Complete daily and weekly incident reports on each resident.
  • Attend and participate in staff meetings, supervision sessions, and training.
Requirements
  • Must be over 25 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of experience working with teens and/or young adults.
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
  • Have a caring personality, emotional maturity, and good listening skills.
  • Role model and encourage courtesy and consideration among residents.
  • Ability to act decisively when necessary to protect residents and their children.
  • Be spiritually-centered and handle information confidentially.
