CNC Machinist Technician

• Receive job assignments and preliminary instructions for a variety of tasks involving complex machinery and standard materials.
  • Interpret operational sequences and set up processes.
  • Acquire necessary materials, equipment, and tools.
• Set up and operate a range of machine tools, including CNC machines, engine lathes, and radial drills.
  • Determine and adjust feeds and speeds based on material requirements and machining tasks. Enhance machine performance for optimal time, material, and tool usage.
  • Perform hand operations such as deburring and cleaning as needed.
  • Utilize machine controls to retrieve computer programs from the DNC network, configure settings, and monitor machining processes.
  • Provide training to operators on the correct use and maintenance of machine tools.
  • Adjust coolant flow and make necessary machine modifications when required.
  • Remove finished pieces from machines, labeling them as directed.
• Handle materials manually or with the assistance of an overhead crane.
• Execute tasks with precision, maximizing material efficiency.
• Maintain a tidy and organized workspace, ensuring careful use of facilities and assisting in repairs when necessary.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.
• Conduct all responsibilities in accordance with established operational protocols to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Prior experience in operating, configuring, and setting up CNC and manual machines for precision components.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed blueprints and bills of materials.
• Proficient in using various precision measuring tools.
• Physical capability to stoop, bend, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds.
