About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our Financial Planning and Analysis team. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and maintenance of sophisticated financial models, analyzing critical metrics and business trends, and providing regular updates to senior management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain complex financial models for forecasting, strategic decision-making, and capital allocation
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators and business trends, providing regular updates to senior management
- Assist in the preparation of weekly reporting, highlighting operational results, forecasts, and business plans for various divisions and subsidiaries
- Identify and analyze operational problems, recommending effective solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute objectives under tight deadlines
- Meet with budget owners to review monthly variances and build forecasts for operational expenses
- Own headcount and salary planning, working closely with hiring managers and the compensation team
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or equivalent quantitative major
- 3+ years of experience in finance/analytics in a corporate environment
- Experience in the tech industry, management consulting, or investment banking is a plus
- Proven expertise in building complex financial models, with a focus on efficiency
- Strong understanding of finance, accounting, economics, and statistics
- Expert-level Excel skills
- Strong analytical and SQL skills
- Statistical modeling using R/Python/etc. is a plus
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to contribute to cross-functional teams
