Anesthesia Technician

The Anesthesia Technician plays a crucial role in supporting anesthesia professionals by ensuring the availability and functionality of anesthesia equipment and supplies.
Required Certifications:
- AHA BLS certification is mandatory. ASATT certification is preferred but not required.
Educational Background:
- Completion of an accredited Anesthesia Technology program (A.A.S. degree) is preferred, along with certification as an Anesthesia Technician (Cer. A.T) through the American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians (ASATT) is preferred.
Experience Requirements:
Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years of experience as an anesthesia technician. Experience with pediatric patients is highly preferred, and trauma experience is also advantageous. Familiarity with point-of-care or cell saver techniques is highly desirable.
