POSITION OVERVIEW

This is an exceptional opportunity to embark on a career in clinical research. Topography Health is committed to training certified bilingual (Vietnamese) Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to evolve into research coordinators. We are in search of a skilled and passionate healthcare professional to enhance our research team.

The selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supervising clinical research projects, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, and delivering patient care within the context of clinical trials.

You will collaborate closely with principal investigators, research coordinators, and various healthcare professionals to promote high-quality research while safeguarding the safety and welfare of study participants.

In this role, comprehensive training will be provided to perform clinical research activities and protocol procedures in a dynamic environment, supported by innovative research infrastructure and a leading technology team, transforming traditional methods of conducting studies.

The position requires a strong eagerness to learn and advance quickly, offering the chance to lead on-site initiatives for Topography's partner healthcare organizations.

Performance will be assessed based on provider outcomes, patient satisfaction, protocol management, and data quality.

A successful candidate must possess the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and independently resolve issues on a daily basis.

Demonstrating empathy for patients and a dedication to broadening access to clinical research in communities nationwide is essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Serve as the study coordinator to implement trials conducted within physician practices, which includes visit preparation, follow-up tasks, supply and inventory oversight, and management of third-party vendors.

Coordinate and oversee clinical research studies from inception to completion, including patient recruitment, enrollment, and follow-up.

Conduct patient recruitment and enrollment of qualified participants, ensuring thorough screening and informed consent processes.


Lead patient study visits, which may encompass clinical and laboratory procedures such as ECG, phlebotomy, vital signs, body measurements, and laboratory processing.


Ensure adherence to protocols and maintain high data integrity, providing meticulous source data capture and documentation, including case report forms, source documents, and study logs.

Support study initiation and planning activities, including pre-study visits (PSVs), site initiation visits (SIVs), and IRB submission and correspondence.


Facilitate monitoring visits (IMVs) and sponsor correspondence, managing the follow-up process and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, institutional policies, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.

Manage the dispensation and accountability of investigational products, ensuring precise tracking and documentation.

Monitor and document patient responses to treatments, managing adverse events, tracking, and follow-up as per protocol requirements.

Conduct data entry into case report forms/electronic data capture (CRF/EDC) systems and resolve queries promptly.

Perform Quality Control (QC) activities, including routine checks during and after study visits to ensure meticulous accuracy in documentation.


Provide training and support to research staff, mentoring junior research personnel, and ensuring compliance with study protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).


Participate in the development and implementation of study protocols and quality assurance processes, utilizing and enhancing Topography's proprietary toolset.


Assist in audit and inspection preparations by regulatory bodies, supporting study close-out activities (COVs), and managing protocol deviation tracking, reporting, and reconciliation.

Additional duties as assigned by management will be performed as necessary.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Certified LVN

1+ years of experience with phlebotomy procedures

Fluent in Vietnamese
