About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team at Canon Solutions America. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring the efficient maintenance of Canon-supported products.

Your Impact:
  • Report product failure trends and serviceability issues to your manager, ensuring accurate information and record keeping.
  • Meet customer demands by providing timely and accurate Field/Shop/onsite maintenance.
  • Maintain all technical information, Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property assigned.
  • Develop strong customer communication and satisfaction skills.
  • Maintain the performance of assigned machines.
  • Contribute to achieving branch/district metric targets.
About You:

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual with a strong understanding of technical environments and the ability to successfully complete the PDIF (Printing and Digital Imaging Foundations) newhire class.

Key qualifications include:

  • High School diploma or equivalent experience required.
  • Basic understanding of internet environments.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record necessary.
  • Ability to function in a 24/7 environment, performing shift work and oncall rotations.
  • Required to take all necessary steps to obtain security and/or other clearances required by customers to enter the customers premises.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and be active more than 50 percent of the time (walking, standing, stooping/kneeling).
