Job Description:

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and service. Our pharmacy technicians are the face of our company, interacting with customers and developing strong relationships with our patients.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Pharmacy Technician. In this role, you will assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including filling prescriptions, processing transactions, and providing customer service.

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your skills and knowledge to provide excellent patient care. You will also have the chance to develop your skills and advance your career through our comprehensive training program.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including filling prescriptions and processing transactions
  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and resolving issues
  • Operate pharmacy systems, including cash registers and inventory management software
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to develop skills and advance career
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 6 months of experience in a retail environment preferred
  • PTCB certification preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
