Foundations for Living is currently in search of an Infection Control Education Specialist to enhance our team.
We are looking for a dynamic and people-oriented professional to deliver training, education, and in-service sessions for all staff members that align with regulatory standards and internal requirements. The Specialist will actively engage in the onboarding of new staff, provide immediate feedback for re-education, and design as well as implement educational programs for ongoing or new process rollouts. This role is crucial in positively impacting the lives of our employees and the individuals we serve.

Foundations for Living is dedicated to providing hope and support to individuals, families, and communities. We pride ourselves on being a leader in delivering quality mental health and addiction treatment services. Our commitment to care encompasses the development of integrated delivery systems through collaborations with medical facilities, community mental health organizations, educational institutions, managed care entities, and local health professionals.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe main duties include:
Organizing and conducting mandatory training sessions and educational programs for all staff, including general orientation. Collaborating with Department Heads and Senior Management to facilitate re-education and department-specific training initiatives. Monitoring and ensuring compliance with all required annual and bi-annual training sessions related to infection prevention. Acting as the Learning Management System (LMS) administrator for the organization. Providing additional training and educational resources to meet the evolving needs of our staff.Qualifications
Required: RN Licensure
Preferred: A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience, with a solid understanding of psychiatric patient care techniques and mental health issues.
