Position Overview:

The Senior Tax Accountant will be responsible for:
  • Preparing tax returns for large S and C corporations, including multi-state filings,
  • Completing partnership, individual, and trust tax returns,
  • Reviewing tax returns prepared by junior staff and providing constructive feedback,
  • Mentoring and training junior team members.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A minimum of 3 years of tax experience in public accounting,
  • CPA certification preferred; MST or MST candidates are a plus,
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills,
  • Excellent technical and research abilities,
  • Capability to manage multiple client engagements with guidance from managers,
  • A commitment to meeting deadlines efficiently,
  • A strong desire for professional growth within the firm.

Technical Proficiency:

Familiarity with CCH ProSystem FX, Engagement, and QuickBooks is preferred.
