Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Geriatric Medication Specialist to join our team at Heritage Park Care Center. As a Personal Care Unit Certified Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective administration of medications to our residents.

About the Role: This is a full-time position that requires a valid QMAP certification through the State of Colorado. You will work closely with our nursing team to assist in the administering of medications as ordered by the attending physician. Your expertise will be invaluable in maintaining accurate records and preventing potential medication errors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, administer, store, and document oral and topical medications
  • Develop and implement procedures to assess potential medication errors
  • Report any suspected or actual medication discrepancies to supervisor immediately
  • Chart appropriately and in a timely manner

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate of a State-approved CNA program
  • Currently registered/licensed in applicable State
  • CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation

Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
