Job Overview

PNC Financial Services Group is seeking a highly skilled Software Development Leader to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading and governing enterprise digital identity development efforts within an Agile development team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Align business strategy with software solutions.
  • Propose, design, and code software solutions to address complex business needs.
  • Oversee technical and procedural documentation required.
  • Lead complex problem-solving.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues and solution development.
  • Display an innovative approach to apply modern principles, methodologies, and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities.
Requirements
  • Experience building enterprise applications using Java.
  • Experience in Core Java.
  • Experience creating and supporting SpringBoot microservices.
  • Experience with Java testing frameworks (Junit, Mocks, etc).
  • Experience with and understanding of source control tools, such as Git.
  • Experience in Apigee.
  • Experience in using JWT token and OAuth strategies.
  • Experience creating web services providing Representational State Transfer (REST, RESTful) APIs.
  • Experience implementing and maintaining authentication and authorization services.
  • Experience implementing and supporting industry DevOps best practices.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines (Jenkins or equivalent).
  • Experience leading and/or coaching other software developers to improve software development and follow best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Java Developer certifications.
  • Container / Kubernetes / RedHat OpenShift certifications.
  • CICD / DevOps certifications.
