POSITION OVERVIEW:

The main objective of this role is to ensure a secure environment, provide emotional and social support, and address the physical needs and comfort of residents. You will deliver direct care to residents as per their care plans and under the guidance of your Supervisor. Additional responsibilities may be assigned by community representatives. Adherence to all health, sanitation, and infection control protocols is essential, along with maintaining the established standards of practice as outlined by the community's administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a Nursing Assistant in good standing according to state regulations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum age of 18 years (16 years old if currently enrolled in high school).
  • Proficient in English with the ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute both verbal and written directives.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and community staff.
  • Knowledge of proper safety and sanitation practices.
  • Willingness to work scheduled hours based on position requirements.
  • Must not pose a direct threat to the health and safety of others in the workplace.

Experience:

  • Prior experience in long-term care is preferred but not mandatory.

Shift & Compensation:

  • Opportunities for both Full-Time and Part-Time positions
  • Shifts Required: Varies
  • Compensation: Up to $26.50 per hour
