POSITION SUMMARY:
The Gaming Operations Supervisor is tasked with delivering outstanding customer service while overseeing gaming activities and managing staff on the casino floor. This role requires the ability to troubleshoot machine issues as they arise and monitor gaming operations in real-time. The Supervisor will also handle jackpot processing and ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately. A thorough understanding of all relevant casino policies and procedures is essential for this position. Additionally, the Supervisor will be responsible for training new hires in both Slot Attendant and Supervisor roles. This position demands a high level of customer service and operational knowledge to maintain a seamless gaming environment. Responsibilities include managing the overall performance of the casino floor, which encompasses staffing, slot machine operations, guest relations, and awareness of promotional events while ensuring compliance with established regulatory standards, including Tribal Gaming Internal Control Standards. The Supervisor must safeguard the assets of S&K Gaming, LLC and keep the Slot Manager informed of all activities during their shift. Handling customer and employee disputes is also a critical aspect of this role, requiring prompt decision-making skills.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Candidates should possess at least one year of experience in a casino environment or in a supervisory capacity. Previous experience in the gaming industry is essential, along with a background in cash handling, computer proficiency, and employee management.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES & REGULATIONS:
- Annual completion of Title 31 Bank Secrecy Act training is mandatory.
- SafeServ certification is required.
- Supervisory training must be completed within one month of employment.
- Annual viewing of Customer Service training video is required.
- Sexual Harassment training video must be viewed every two years.
- Cash handling training is necessary.
- POS system training is required.
- Completion of gaming application and fingerprinting process is mandatory.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test is required, with ongoing random testing as a condition of employment.
- It is the employee's responsibility to maintain current and valid documentation.
The Slot Attendant is responsible for welcoming guests with a friendly demeanor and ensuring cleanliness and order in customer areas. This role includes taking beverage orders and processing payments for alcohol purchases. A pleasant and courteous attitude is essential. The Slot Attendant must ensure compliance with all policies related to the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act, National Indian Gaming Commission, Tribal Gaming Commission, and any applicable state regulations. Knowledge of these policies and procedures is crucial for effectively communicating with the public. The Slot Attendant must also be well-versed in internal cash handling procedures, payout processes, and staff requirements, adhering strictly to these protocols daily.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Preferred candidates will have a minimum of six months of experience in a customer-facing role.
