Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a comprehensive log of samples and relevant information in the laboratory database.
  • Ensure that sample submissions are accurate and align with accompanying documentation, preparing samples for logging.
  • Assist in sample preparation as per training and competency.
  • Process analytical reports efficiently.
  • Serve as the primary contact for laboratory inquiries, directing issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Input sample analytical data into the laboratory database.
  • Record quality control data in the designated storage area.
  • Keep accurate records and files.
  • Order necessary supplies and materials.
  • Perform routine laboratory housekeeping tasks.

Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Familiarity with laboratory tests and analyses.
  • Understanding of laboratory terminology and equipment.
  • Awareness of quality control procedures.
  • Ability to manage samples effectively.
  • Competence in basic mathematical calculations.
  • Proficient in record-keeping.
