Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a comprehensive log of samples and relevant information in the laboratory database.
- Ensure that sample submissions are accurate and align with accompanying documentation, preparing samples for logging.
- Assist in sample preparation as per training and competency.
- Process analytical reports efficiently.
- Serve as the primary contact for laboratory inquiries, directing issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Input sample analytical data into the laboratory database.
- Record quality control data in the designated storage area.
- Keep accurate records and files.
- Order necessary supplies and materials.
- Perform routine laboratory housekeeping tasks.
Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Familiarity with laboratory tests and analyses.
- Understanding of laboratory terminology and equipment.
- Awareness of quality control procedures.
- Ability to manage samples effectively.
- Competence in basic mathematical calculations.
- Proficient in record-keeping.
