We are seeking a highly skilled Field Laboratory Analyst to join our team at Imperative Chemical Partners. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for collecting samples, performing field analyses, and executing proprietary laboratory workflows to develop best-in-class chemical product lines.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate with laboratories and customers to determine sample requirements and deliver samples to relevant laboratories.
- Collect samples according to established procedures and prioritize work based on internal and external deadlines.
- Provide product analysis using accepted scientific methods and summarize results for internal and external customers.
- Analyze and interpret characteristics, information, and data related to materials and fluids to develop best-in-class fracturing fluid chemicals.
- Maintain absolute confidentiality regarding internal and external data and analysis.
- Develop and provide technical training for internal and external customers.
- Maintain relationships with customers and other field personnel to answer questions and resolve issues.
- B.S. degree preferred, A.S. required (may be substituted for minimum of 2 years of relevant experience).
- Laboratory analytical and testing skills.
- Understanding of lab processes and efficiencies.
- Self-starter with fast learning capabilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word.
- Mathematical and mechanical aptitude, with ability to protect confidential information.
- Oil and gas industry experience with knowledge of fracturing fluid chemical product lines a plus.
