Fellowship in Advanced Urinary Therapies

This fellowship offers a unique opportunity for individuals interested in advancing their expertise in urinary procedures and extracorporeal therapies within a dynamic veterinary setting.
Key Responsibilities:The successful candidate will engage in a variety of essential duties, including:
- Extracorporeal Therapy: The fellow will dedicate 50% of their time to managing elective and emergency extracorporeal therapy sessions, with on-call responsibilities during the latter part of the fellowship.
- Advanced Urinary Procedures: The fellow will also spend 50% of their time participating in advanced urinary procedures such as stent placements, ectopic ureter ablation, renal sclerotherapy, and lithotripsy, while assisting in the training of residents.
The ideal candidate will be board-eligible or certified by the ACVIM, with time allocated for board preparation. A strong academic background and excellent communication skills are essential.
Additional Benefits:Fellows will receive training in advanced endourology techniques, with sponsorship for course costs.
Work Schedule:The standard work hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential for additional hours as needed.
Licensure Requirements:Eligibility for North Carolina Veterinary licensure is required.
Compensation:The anticipated salary for this position is $70,000.
