Pediatric Sickle Cell Disease Program Director Opportunity

We are seeking a visionary leader to join our team as a Pediatric Sickle Cell Disease Program Director at Children's Mercy Hospital. The successful candidate will have a medical degree and certification in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, with a minimum of three years of post-fellowship experience in treating patients with Sickle Cell Disease.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent clinical care for children and adolescents with Sickle Cell Disease
  • Lead our Sickle Cell Program and develop strategies for improving patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care
  • Contribute to research and education initiatives in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology
About Our Program:

Our Sickle Cell Program is a regional center for Missouri, serving approximately 300 patients from infancy to 21 years of age. We have a full-service program with a team of experienced healthcare professionals, including faculty physicians, advance practice nurses, social workers, psychologists, research nurses, and data managers. We are actively involved in NIH and industry clinical trials and have a robust coagulation service and Hemophilia Treatment Center.
