Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Pathologist to join our team at Yale New Haven Health. As a Speech and Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings. You will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary treatment teams to provide comprehensive patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patients with a range of speech and language disorders, including articulation and phonological disorders, language delay, and behavior modification.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Stay up-to-date with current developments in the field through ongoing education and professional development.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Connecticut.
  • Membership in the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Experience working with pediatric patients, preferably in an outpatient setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with FEES, MBS, and TEP.
  • Knowledge of autism spectrum disorders and medically complex pediatric dysphagia management.
  • Proficiency with articulation and phonological disorders, language delay, and behavior modification.
