Job Opportunity: Outside Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our client's dynamic team at Fanning Personnel. The successful candidate will be responsible for increasing sales of code-required annual service contracts by building and maintaining relationships with both new and existing clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and actively pursue sales leads and prospective clients, guiding them through the sales pipeline from qualification to closing stages.
  • Conduct outbound cold calling and email outreach to potential customers, schedule in-person sales appointments, and respond to client information requests.
  • Build and nurture relationships with existing clients to maintain and grow the business.
  • Collaborate with the Inside Sales team to identify potential leads and engage with current customers meaningfully.
  • Stay informed on industry trends to uncover new sales opportunities.
  • Generate and submit detailed sales reports to management.
  • Regularly communicate with both current and potential customers to provide solutions, addressing their needs, and managing all sales activities within your assigned territory.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and values to ensure a consistent and professional representation of the company.
  • Maintain accurate records of all leads, customer accounts, and sales activities.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or GED is required; a Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of sales experience, ideally within the construction or facility services field.
  • Proven experience in outside sales.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
  • Strong consultative sales and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail.
