We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at United Memorial Medical Center. As a Clinical Resource Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the nursing staff on our Med/Surg unit.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working evening/night shifts, with 4 weekend shifts per month. You will be responsible for rounding on each unit to review patient and staff needs, managing job-related stressors, and participating in problem-solving activities to improve patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Round on each unit to review patient and staff needs
  • Manage job-related stressors and provide constructive feedback
  • Participate in problem-solving activities to improve patient care
  • Provide input on protocols, policies, and procedures
  • Respect patient rights and maintain confidentiality
  • Stay up-to-date with evidence-based practice and participate in educational programs
Requirements
  • Diploma or Associates degree in nursing required
  • 3-5 years of acute care experience required
  • Bachelors degree in nursing preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to teach and foster a collaborative environment
