Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatrist III to join our team at the Corpus Christi State Supported Living Center (SSLC). As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing advanced psychiatric assessment and treatment services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide medication management and other psychiatric treatments as needed
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care and services
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
  • Supervise and mentor other staff members as needed
Requirements
  • Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry
  • Current unrestricted registration certificate from the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA)
  • Must be licensed as a medical doctor by the State of Texas
  • At least three years of experience working as a psychiatrist, preferably in a similar setting
