Psychiatrist III

We are seeking a highly skilled Psiychiatrist III to join our team at the HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES COMMISSION. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing advanced psychiatric assessment and treatment services to our residents.

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Administer quality and appropriate specialized psychiatric treatments, assessments, and procedures as needed
• Review and analyze system data to ensure treatment plans are individualized and decisions are made in conjunction with the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT)
• Ensure that treatment plans are implemented as designed by providing consultation or training as needed to behavioral health and direct care staff
• Participate in Peer Review Committees for performance improvement as appropriate
• Plan, assign, and guide the work of others in the process of the multi-disciplinary approach to resident care

• Must have a strong background in psychiatry and experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
