Key Responsibilities:
- Developing, designing, and executing strategies to safeguard against emerging operational technology threats utilizing advanced security tools.
- Conducting security assessments on new technologies and modifications to existing systems.
- Overseeing information security technologies such as antivirus solutions, IDS/IPS, SIEM, endpoint detection and response, data loss prevention, data encryption, proxies, and network access control, along with establishing security policies and procedures, and managing incident response.
Essential Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, accompanied by over 5 years of experience in information security or relevant IT/OT roles.
- Proficiency with industrial standard SCADA systems and cybersecurity initiatives related to SCADA, preferably within the power sector, with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Demonstrated hands-on technical leadership in executing IT security functions, maintaining systems, and providing guidance to teams.
- This position requires a NERC CIP background investigation.
