Job Title: Activity Leader - After School Enrichment and Safety Program

We are seeking a qualified Activity Leader to join our team at Fairfax School - Bakersfield. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with academic enrichment and physical activities for children participating in the ASES Program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with academic enrichment and physical activities for children
  • Establish cooperative and effective working relationships with children and adults
  • Maintain an attractive and safe learning environment
  • Maintain necessary records and files relating to the program
  • Utilize appropriate supplies, materials, and equipment for the program
  • Maintain a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about children
  • Participate in staff development activities
Requirements:
  • Proof of High School Diploma (or GED) AND
  • Rigorous standard of quality on formal state assessment or local assessment OR
  • Two years of college credit OR
  • Associate's of Arts Degree
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Paid or voluntary experience working with children
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of energy and enthusiasm. The position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
