Job Title: Regional IT Support Specialist

World Relief is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional IT Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical support to staff, interns, and volunteers across the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide computer hardware and software technical support to staff, interns, and volunteers.
  • Maintain and manage IT equipment, including laptops and workstations.
  • Manage and track equipment, including regular updates of staff and intern laptops.
  • Install and test software applications on computer hardware throughout the region.
  • Manage help desk tickets and provide technical support to staff and interns with computer and network-related issues.
  • Maintain records of IT support and provide technical documentation as needed.
  • Manage staff and intern tech orientation and set up employee and intern workstations.
  • Manage regional computer inventory, including retiring aged computers.
  • Provide limited training to audio-visual/multi-media equipment users.
  • Liaise with third-party IT support organizations.
  • Set up and break down equipment for All-Staff internal and external meetings.
  • Assist with short-term projects as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Working knowledge of relevant operating systems, software, and programming, including Microsoft OS and MS 365.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and critical thinking skills.
  • Keen attention to detail and good organization, time management, and prioritization skills.
  • Effective communication skills, including speaking, writing, and active listening.
  • Great customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record preferred.
